Restaurant Insurance
Great Rates, Service and Coverage From Reputable Insurers.
We insure several restaurants and bars in the Greater Seattle Area, some for upwards of a decade.
We access insurers brokers cannot, and often offer superior premiums and an extensive package of insurance coverages specifically tailored to restaurants under one policy. Examples are assault & battery, liquor liability, employment practices liability, cyber liability and employee dishonesty. Additionally, we can offer preferred coverage and rates for a wide array of restaurants, bakeries, cafe’s, coffee shops, bars, pubs, taverns, food trucks, and fast food eateries, even if others may consider an establishment high risk, which helps keeps the bar and restaurant insurance costs low.
Available Restaurant and Bar Insurance Coverages
Tenant improvements coverage covers permanently attached property on the rented premises that were installed or purchased by the insured. Under restaurant and bar insurance, we recommend a tenant improvements limit that is based on the value of the improvements.
Business property coverage, also known as contents coverage, covers loose property on the insured premises. For a bar and restaurant insurance policy, we recommend a contents limit that is based on the value of this property.
Off-Premises property coverage covers property away from the insured premises. Under bar and restaurant insurance, we recommend an off-premises limit that is based on the value of the property that could be taken off the insured premises.
Typically the building owner covers glass damage, however, some leases require that the tenant cover glass damage, which tenant’s glass coverage covers. Under a bar and restaurant business insurance policy, we recommend a tenant’s glass limit that is based on the value of the windows at the insured location.
Employee dishonesty covers embezzlement of company funds. For restaurant and bar insurance, we recommend an employee dishonesty limit that is based on the company funds exposed to embezzlement.
Business income coverage replaces lost income if a covered loss renders the shop uninhabitable. Additional coverage is available for power outages. Under a restaurant and bar insurance policy, we recommend a business income limit that is based on the income that could be lost over the period of time that could be required to repair the insured location.
